We do not seek power; we simply want to live—and live in peace.

We want to work, enjoy our leisure time, and savor life.

Some would have us believe that power ought to belong to us. They call this democracy—power to the people. But that is not the priority.

We simply want our voices heard when we protest for our lives or our comfort—that is, for our own self-interest (our power to live).

For what drives us to react is the loss—or the threat of losing—an advantage we currently enjoy. As long as our personal interests are not at stake, we let things slide.

We want peace. That begins at home, with protection from the elements and from those who would violate our dwellings. "Property is sacred," declares our Constitution. Yet our primary property is not our home; it is our body and our mind. We cannot accept being manipulated, mistreated, subjected to violence, or poisoned.

Whether in the name of collectivism—be it leftist, Islamic, or neoliberal—those in power view the populace merely as a mass to be managed, actively opposing individualism. Consequently, individual liberty vanishes. The attached photo illustrates the dangers of collectivism—specifically, a form of collective management that is ill-suited to reality and hostile to individualism.

 

Those in charge have lost touch with us and with the realities of everyday life. They do not serve us; they serve their own personal and group interests. They have become disconnected from our reality and from common sense.

We face a choice: either we let them carry on and continue chasing a standard of comfort that dwindles by the day, or we organize ourselves to exert pressure and act as a counter-power. In a sense, we place them under our supervision!

 

Yet peace is not the same as obliviousness, weakness, or cowardice. If we desire peace, we must prepare for war in order to enforce it. "Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war." — Martin Luther King

 

Let us save France; let us save ourselves. Let us organize to defend individual liberty.
